Presented by Alark Co. Events and Marketing, the Ubeverse Festival is a vibrant, two-day celebration of the Philippines' iconic purple yam and the rich heritage it represents.
UBEVERSE IS A NINE DAY CELEBRATION starting with the Ubeverse Week where participating local businesses will create their own “version” of an ube-inspired food and/drink and all can sip, savour, support, and vote!
On June 6-7, 2026, the ultimate UBE celebration will take place at the Tyndall Park Grounds and Community Centre, this event coincides with Filipino Heritage Month to bring the community and Manitoba together through food, art, and tradition. The "Ubeverse" (Ube + Verse) is a curated "universe" where every vendor brings their own unique version of Ube-inspired creations. From innovative dishes and desserts to local goods, the festival showcases the limitless creativity of our local makers. Experience the nostalgia of a "Sari-Sari Store" aesthetic. The festival features a lively pop-up market, music, dance, and cultural and traditional activations. Everyone is welcome. Admission is FREE. Don’t miss history in the making, come explore the UBEVERSE!
